Boat trip: Isola Bisentina and Isola Martana

A ferry to the enchanting lake isles runs several times a day, departing from Capodimonte; the tour includes the circumnavigation of the Bisentina and Martana islands to admire their almost untouched nature made up of thick holm oak woods and enchanting views. Numerous monuments are present on the island, including the church of Saints Giacomo and Cristoforo del Vignola, the octagonal temple of Santa Caterina by Sangallo and the chapel of the Crucifix, with frescoes from the 1400s.
